In 2021, our family received devastating news that our mother was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease. After the initial shock and sadness subsided, we began to think of ways that we could help in the battle against Alzheimer’s disease.
In those early days, we learned about Cure Alzheimer’s Fund, a nonprofit organization dedicated exclusively to finding a cure for the disease. The cure for Alzheimer’s disease will be the result of countless hours invested by an entire ecosystem of people and organizations – Cure Alzheimer’s Fund encourages scientists to pursue wild ideas and take bold risks that will one day lead to a breakthrough.
Through events like our annual springtime golf tournament, to providing a centralized place to pool resources, our hope is that the Purpura Family Foundation will serve as a catalyst for progress in this field.
The Purpura Family Foundation donates 100% of raised funds to Cure Alzheimer’s Fund.
